Do you ever wake up from a strange, vivid, or even a scary dream and wonder, “What is wrong with me?”
As a Mind Architect, I often tell my clients: Stop worrying about your dreams and start thanking them. ### The Mental “Empty the Bin” Process
Think of your mind like a high-powered computer. Throughout the day, you process thousands of images, conversations, and emotions. Some are useful, but many are just “mental clutter.”
When you sleep, your body rests, but your subconscious mind goes to work. It performs a function similar to the “Empty Bin” command on your desktop. It gathers all the junk, the suppressed fears, and the random data you collected during the day and flushes them out.
Why “Bad” Dreams are Good
Even if a dream feels unpleasant, it is often just your mind’s way of releasing stress and clearing out “dust” from your mental corridors. It is a natural detoxification process.
The NLP Perspective:
By acknowledging that dreams are a tool for mental hygiene, you stop the cycle of anxiety. Instead of waking up stressed, try saying: “I thank my dreams for making me strong and keeping my mind clear.”
Next time you have a wild dream, don’t overanalyze it. Just smile, knowing your “internal cleaner” is doing a great job!
